House of SpeakEasy

Lyric is the Executive Producer of House of SpeakEasy—a nonprofit that connects writers with audiences and supports reading, writing, and public participation in literary culture. As Executive Producer, Lyric leads the team behind the critically-acclaimed literary cabaret series Seriously Entertaining, which brings together four incredible writers each month for a night of live storytelling at Joe’s Pub at The Public Theater. Lyric works closely with writers (including Bill Buford, Junot Díaz, Mary Gaitskill, Yiyun Li, ZZ Packer, Gary Shteyngart, and many more) to develop and rehearse engaging talks. During her tenure, Lyric has facilitated three co-productions with The New Yorker, as well as collaborations with Knopf Publishing, powerHouse Books, and the Association of Marshall Scholars.

The iDeas Lab

Lyric served as Podcast and Live Event Producer for the iDeas Lab at the Johns Hopkins Berman Institute of Bioethics. In this role, Lyric produced “Life, Death, and Bioethics” — a public event at the Center for Brooklyn History to celebrate launch of playing god? Season 2.

HISTORY This Week x The Tenement Museum

Lyric produced the first-ever LIVE episode of the History Channel’s immersive podcast HISTORY This Week at the Tenement Museum. Host Sally Helm and historian Tyler Anbinder had a rich conversation about the myths and lives of Irish immigrants who came to New York City during the Great Potato Famine — in front of a sold-out crowd. Lyric also produced a recording of the event as S7.E4 in the podcast feed: “HTW Live: Busting the Myths of Irish Immigration.

World Monuments Fund

Lyric served as Executive Producer for the World Monuments Fund 2025 annual summit at the Rockefeller Center. In this role, she worked closely with WMF’s six Executive Directors to produce the centerpiece of the 60th anniversary celebration: a world-spanning, time-traveling storytelling journey that brings the organization’s legacy and spirit to life.
